Where It Goes
- Storefront window: your business name big, with up to 3 smaller lines like a tagline, phone and website.
- Business door: your name plus up to 5 smaller lines for tagline, phone, website and hours.
- Office door: a name, title and suite or room number. Great for law offices, clinics and conference rooms.
- Home door or sidelight: your family name or house number, with an optional Est. line and street name.
Two Styles
- Frosted letters: the lettering is frosted and the glass around it stays clear.
- Clear letters in a frosted band: a frosted privacy strip runs across the glass with your lettering cut out so it shows clear. Set the band length to fit your glass, and the height fits your lettering automatically or you can make it taller.

Sizes and Pricing
Pick your main line letter height from 1 to 6 inches. The smaller lines are sized to match. The preview shows the finished width and height, and the price is based on the finished width:
- Up to 12 in wide: $18.00

How to Install
- Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely.
- Measure and level the lettering, then tape the top edge to make a hinge.
- Flip it up, peel off the backing, and lay it down slowly while pressing with the squeegee from the center out.
- Rub firmly over every letter, then peel the clear transfer tape off slowly at a sharp angle.
Etched vinyl installs dry only. Do not use the wet method.
Care and Removal
Wait 48 hours before cleaning. Then use any mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth, wiping with the lettering rather than against the edges. Avoid scrapers and razor blades on the vinyl. To remove, warm it with a hair dryer and peel from a corner. Any leftover adhesive comes off with rubbing alcohol.
FAQ
Can people see through the frosted part? Etched vinyl lets light through but blurs the view, just like real etched glass.
Inside or outside the glass? Inside lasts longest. Choose inside mount if people should read it from outside, and we cut it mirrored.
What letter height should I pick? 3 to 6 inches for a business name on a storefront, 2 inches for an office door name, and about 1 inch for hours and phone numbers.
Do you have other fonts? Yes. Type the name of any font from our font chart in the builder and we will cut it in that font.
